The world-famous Louis Eschenauer wine house can look back on over 200 years of history. The Eschenauer family, originally from Alsace, settled in Bordeaux in 1821 and successfully began trading in wine there. They made a significant contribution to the reputation of Bordeaux wines and determined the export price of French wines. They acquired numerous château vineyards and began making their own wines.

A characterful Cabernet Sauvignon from the sun-drenched Pays d’Oc region in Languedoc-Roussillon. In the glass, this wine shows a clear, deep garnet to purple hue, almost black in intensity. The nose reveals aromas of red berries, blackcurrant (cassis), green pepper, and subtle hints of spice and hay – true to varietal character.

On the palate, it features a fine tannic structure, touches of liquorice, and a lingering, well-rounded finish.

Food pairing:
Excellent with red meats, game, charcuterie, hearty salads, and strong cheeses.
