Yamazaki is a Suntory whisky distillery in Shimamoto. The single malt whisky of the same name, Yamazaki, is produced there. The main reason for choosing the company's headquarters was the outstanding water quality of the area, which is called Minaseno.

The Yamazaki Kogei Collection 2024 presents the Peated Malt Spanish Oak Edition, an exquisite bottling that demonstrates the art of Japanese whisky production at the highest level. This limited edition combines smoky peat notes with the rich spice of Spanish oak casks to create a distinctive flavor profile. 

Gentle peat smoke meets dark fruits, roasted nuts and subtle oak spice. The palate reveals a harmonious balance of malty sweetness, spicy wood, dried fruit and delicate vanilla. The finish is long-lasting with fine smoky notes, a hint of dark chocolate and Mediterranean spices.
