Nikka Gold & Gold Samurai Whiskey is made at Yoichi Distillery. The distillery was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru in Yoichi, a town in Yoichi District, Shiribeshi Prefecture, Hokkaido, Japan.
Nikka Gold & Gold Samurai Whiskey was created with samurai warriors in mind and has a perfectly balanced flavor profile.
Notes of vanilla, lemon and honey fill the air. On the palate one perceives aromas of nuts, pineapple and pears. The finish is long-lasting and is accompanied by notes of liquorice and various spices.
