In 1815 the Scotsman Robert Cockburn and his brother John, already successful wine merchants in Leith near Edinburgh, founded a branch of their company in Porto: R & J Cockburn's. Cockburns Port is known for its combination of power and elegance. It is made from the finest Douro Valley grapes and aged in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
Following the Soho tradition, the recipe books were raided and the favorite ruby blend from the heyday of the iconic port wine was recreated with lemon. This is Ruby Soho: A delicious premium Ruby Port wine bursting with character. Taken from the past and remastered for the present.
Bright aromas of blackberry and toffee complement juicy aromas of red and black fruit. Great freshness and balance are crowned by moments of explosive peppery spiciness.
