The company Behn, which was founded the "Wattenfer" Hestelle, was founded in 1892 by Waldemar Behn as a beverage wholesale trade. Waldemar Behn sold beer on construction worker of the North Baltic Sea Canal at Kiel. Waldemar Behn bought the brewery in 1906 in Eckernförde, in which today is the company headquarters. The assortment of Waldemar Behn GmbH now includes many different spirits.
