On the edge of the Austrian shore of Lake Constance, in an area with a strong orchard, apples, pears, plums, cherries, apricots, quinces and other fruit and fruit varieties with a distinct varietal character ripen under special climatic conditions. Since 1886, they have been using these treasures of nature to produce distillates of the highest fruit enjoyment. What began as a farm with an inn developed over the years into a cooperage and cidery and finally culminated in today's Verschluss-Fein distillery.
Many years of experience in the selection of fruit, its processing and the skillful distillation of Williams-Christ pears allow us to produce this schnapps of exquisite quality. The juicy pears ripen under ideal conditions in the orchards of our fruit growers and give the Williams schnapps its fine, fruity, slightly sweet aroma. Our master distillers repeatedly check the taste and smell of the schnapps. Only when they are satisfied is the Williams pear schnapps ready for consumption and bottled in the typical princess bottle. But what does it taste like, the Willi? Unmistakable, in the nose and on the palate. The typical taste of the variety is easy to recognize even for inexperienced schnapps drinkers. The characteristic aroma, clear, pure fruit flavors on the palate with a long finish.
