On the edge of the Austrian shore of Lake Constance, in an area with a strong orchard, apples, pears, plums, cherries, apricots, quinces and other fruit and fruit varieties with a distinct varietal character ripen under special climatic conditions. Since 1886, they have been using these treasures of nature to produce distillates of the highest fruit enjoyment. What began as a farm with an inn developed over the years into a cooperage and cidery and finally culminated in today's Verschluss-Fein distillery.

The fine nut liqueur made from wild hazelnuts is an incomparably intense pleasure. The hazelnuts are harvested and dried in the fall before we process them in our in-house roasting plant. We then soak them for some time in high-quality alcohol, where the fine nutty aromas can develop perfectly. This produces our distillate, which gives the liqueur its intense flavor and delicate smoothness on the palate.
