On the edge of the Austrian shore of Lake Constance, in an area with a strong orchard, apples, pears, plums, cherries, apricots, quinces and other fruit and fruit varieties with a distinct varietal character ripen under special climatic conditions. Since 1886, they have been using these treasures of nature to produce distillates of the highest fruit enjoyment. What began as a farm with an inn developed over the years into a cooperage and cidery and finally culminated in today's Verschluss-Fein distillery.
This delicately fragrant apricot schnapps is a traditional Austrian specialty. The juicy, sweet apricots, also known as apricots, come from sun-drenched regions at the foothills of the Alps. After harvesting, we mash them carefully and distil them into an aromatic distillate using the double fine distillation process. The schnapps impresses on the nose with its typical aroma of fully ripe fruit. On the palate, there are full-bodied, intense apricot tones with a long, fruity finish.
