On the edge of the Austrian shore of Lake Constance, in an area with a strong orchard, apples, pears, plums, cherries, apricots, quinces and other fruit and fruit varieties with a distinct varietal character ripen under special climatic conditions. Since 1886, they have been using these treasures of nature to produce distillates of the highest fruit enjoyment. What began as a farm with an inn developed over the years into a cooperage and cidery and finally culminated in today's Verschluss-Fein distillery.
Fully ripe, juicy apricots from the best growing regions are the raw material for our popular house brandy apricot. The fine aromas unfold particularly well in the bulbous goblet. Delicate and fruity on the nose with subtle, almost floral notes. On the palate, our house schnapps presents itself with a full-bodied, varietal taste of sun-ripened apricots, which lingers long after the soft finish.
