On the edge of the Austrian shore of Lake Constance, in an area with a strong orchard, apples, pears, plums, cherries, apricots, quinces and other fruit and fruit varieties with a distinct varietal character ripen under special climatic conditions. What began as a farm with an inn developed over the years into a cooperage and cidery and finally culminated in today's Verschluss-Fein distillery.
