Calvados is an amber-colored apple brandy from Normandy, France. The name of the drink is derived from its protected designation of origin, the "Département Calvados". For the production of calvados, the fresh apple cider is fermented into cider in a few weeks, there are a total of 48 different apple varieties.

Pere Magloire 12 Years Old is made from the best Normandy apples. The fermentation first produces a delicious cider, which is aged in barrels for two years before distillation. It then matures again, this time in oak barrels for four years.

Pere Magloire 12 years combines aromas of caramelized apples with a hint of nuts. Its aroma combines ripe apples, sweet red fruits and roasted nuts with notes of vanilla and a hint of liquorice.
