The history of the Braastad family spans centuries, but the history of Braastad Cognac began in 1875. Médéric Tiffon founded the Tiffon House of Cognac on the banks of the Charente River in France.
This excellent VSOP is a blend of carefully selected cognacs from the Petite Champagne and Fins Bois growing areas. Braastad VSOP has an average maturation time of around eight years and has been awarded the gold medal for the best VSOP Cognac several times at the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition in London for its outstanding quality and the finesse of the aroma.
"Braastad VSOP" is dark gold in color. It has an elegant, complex aroma with floral notes and an integrated oak note. It is a round, mild cognac with a good body. The finish is soft and long with a hint of spices and dark chocolate.
