Skel Ton xReLaXx Robusto 25er

This is roughly how one could summarize the career of Tonio Neugebauer, founder and brand owner of Skel Ton. The cigars of his two series, Live Your Dreams and xReLaXx, whose blends Tonio personally composed, are manufactured by Plasencia in Nicaragua. Everything else, he does himself. Tonio is not only an incredibly authentic and likeable guy from northern Germany but also a highly creative mind. His goal was nothing less than to revolutionize the cigar world with his brand—an ambitious endeavor at just the right time. After founding the brand in 2016, he soon made it onto the bestseller lists of various specialty retailers through sheer hard work and determination.

The second series from Tonio's Tabaco is a successful continuation in every respect. Like the “Live Your Dreams” series, the “xReLaXx” cigars are also made by hand at Plasencia in Nicaragua. Compared to the first series, however, the “xReLaXx” is somewhat more restrained, but no less beguiling on the palate. Cocoa and coffee aromas are exciting counterparts to the woody and earthy basic aroma, which is constantly present. The taste of almonds can also be detected at times. A smoke with rough edges, just the way we love it. Responsible for this is a composition of Dominican, Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, which are wrapped in two binder leaves from Indonesia and Nicaragua. The cigars get their dark color from the somewhat rough Mexican San Andrés wrapper. The cigars alone would be reason enough to try this series due to their excellent taste. However, the special packaging should certainly provide an additional incentive to buy. The cigars are delivered in a handmade, solid glass with a shiny gold finish. It should be noted that the lid does not have a seal and the jar is therefore not recommended as a humidor.
