This is roughly how one could summarize the career of Tonio Neugebauer, founder and brand owner of Skel Ton. The cigars of his two series, Live Your Dreams and xReLaXx, whose blends Tonio personally composed, are manufactured by Plasencia in Nicaragua. Everything else, he does himself. Tonio is not only an incredibly authentic and likeable guy from northern Germany but also a highly creative mind. His goal was nothing less than to revolutionize the cigar world with his brand—an ambitious endeavor at just the right time. After founding the brand in 2016, he soon made it onto the bestseller lists of various specialty retailers through sheer hard work and determination.

With the Live Your Dreams series, Tonio fulfilled a personal dream and entered the cigar business in 2016. Since there is only one chance to make a first impression, Tonio put in a great deal of effort for his debut in collaboration with Plasencia. The result is a medium-bodied smoking pleasure with notes of dark chocolate and coffee. In the background, a subtle roasted aroma is perceptible.

The blend owes its distinctive character to an oily, shimmering H-2000 wrapper from Ecuador, two binders—one from Indonesia, the other from Jalapa, Nicaragua—and a filler consisting of Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan tobaccos aged for up to three years. Notably, Tonio has also placed special emphasis on packaging. The white boxes featuring the dancing skeleton are not only a real eye-catcher but also environmentally friendly. Produced using a paper injection molding process, they are made exclusively from sustainable raw materials, making them fully compostable.
