Platinum Nova Cigars is a unique cigar brand that specializes in handmade cigars in limited editions. The origin of the brand lies in the tradition of a renowned cigar maker who has passed on his knowledge over several generations. The cigars are produced in a small factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. The dedicated team is led by Leonor “Leo” Abzaradel, who has been part of the company since 2019. Platinum Nova mainly uses Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Particular attention is paid to the long-term storage of tobaccos that have been aged for between 10 and 15 years. After production, the cigars are stored in cedar wood for a further two to three years in order to develop a complex and balanced aroma.

 The cigar is made with a dark wrapper leaf from Mexico, which is used for the San Andrés part, while the binder and filler come from the Dominican Republic. This fusion results in a medium-bodied flavor profile with a variety of earthy and leathery aromas, accompanied by a subtle taste of ginger, cinnamon and various spices. The tobacco from Toro's Platinum Nova batch is stored for a particularly long time and then matured for two to three years in cedar wood chambers. This creates a complex and harmonious flavor composition that pleases the palate and the eye.
