The name of the Davidoff cigar brand goes back to its founder, Zino Davidoff, who was born at the beginning of the 20th century to a family of tobacco blenders in Russia. Even as a child, he was fascinated by tobacco products and their manufacture. At a young age, he was therefore drawn to South and Central America, where he expanded his knowledge. All four formats are made from Davidoff's familiar blend of Seco, Volado and Olor in the filler. The binder leaf is also Dominican.
Launched on the market in July 2015, these cigarillos are filled with 100% natural tobacco from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The wrapper is Sumatra and the binder is Jalapa. The taste is spicier with clear notes of white pepper and coffee. Overall, the bittersweet note combined with the floral notes typical of Davidoff make for an extremely interesting little cigar!
