The distillery in Denmark, where Ron Sostenible is produced, works according to a sustainable principle, where special attention is paid to environmentally friendly production.
Ron Sostenible means “sustainable rum” and it is our desire to produce the most sustainable rum on the market. All the rum in this range is shipped from the Dominican Republic on a traditional sailing ship that is powered exclusively by wind energy.
Like our Ron Sostenible 8y, Triple Cask also matures for at least 8 years in bourbon barrels. At the end of the maturation process, however, it matures in both Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and Oloroso sherry casks. This double barrel treatment gives it complexity and depth - an exceptional rum.
The aromas reveal clear notes of port and rum, which harmonize perfectly with the sweetness of dark chocolate and caramel. On the palate, it is complex, intense and notes of dark chocolate, caramel and port wine are also present here. The finish is long-lasting and complex.
