Wolfburn is a whiskey distillery near Thurso, Scotland. In January 2013, the first spirit flowed through the stills at Wolfburn, the most northerly distillery on mainland Scotland.
Wolfburn Northland Whiskey is aged in ex-Islay casks as Quarter Cask.
Notes of fresh fruit, notes of malt and a hint of peat rise into the nose. On the palate it is sweet, nutty and accompanied by smoky notes. The finish is long lasting and smoky.
