Talisker Distillery is a whiskey distillery on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
This spirit is stored in barrels that were previously used for port wine. This Talisker received a second aging in port wine casks.
Sweet and smoky notes, like a dying log fire and aromas of ripe plums fill the air. On the palate, one notices the typical Talisker note of pepper and soft smoky notes, along with aromas of dark fruits, toffee and spices. The finish is long lasting with a dry smoky note.
