Talisker Distillery is a whiskey distillery on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
This Talisker Distillers Edition belongs to the "Classic Malts of Scottland". This outstanding Talisker whisky originally matured in American and European oak refill casks. The second maturation takes place in re-charred former Amoroso American oak casks with heavily re-charred new AO ends.The Amoroso oak casks are slightly richer than the original and give the whisky a round, juicy and fruity sweetness that harmonizes perfectly with Talisker's fresh, dry peat smoke and the familiar peppery notes.
