The rum develops its exceptional depth and complexity over 18 years in ex-bourbon and French oak barrels. Intense aromas of caramel, dark chocolate and dried fruit unfold on the nose, accompanied by a fine woody note. On the palate, the rum is full-bodied and complex, with flavors of toffee, exotic spices and tropical fruits, complemented by an elegant oak note. The finish is long-lasting, warm and slightly sweet, with subtle wood and caramel tones and a gentle spiciness lingering.
