Jamaica is considered one of the most famous islands in the rum production. The Caribbean island looks back on a long tradition and pleased with spirits that are known worldwide.
The Mezan Jamaican Barrique XO is a blend from distillaten derived from two distilleries. The two farms, Hampden and Monymus, choose different RUMs for blending, which have a maturation of only 4 years up to 23 years.
The RUMs will be married to each other after their separate storage and can then interrelate together for a long time.
The Mezan Jamaica Rum X.O. is a special filling limited to 5,000 bottles.
In the nose, fruity notes of ripe bananas and tropical fruits rise. To do this, adult spices, vanilla and some oak. On the palate you take a slight sweetness of molasses true. Sheet music of ripe bananas, oak and tobacco also join.
