Loch Lomond is a whiskey distillery in the town of Alexandria on the southern tip of Loch Lomond in the Scottish Midlands. Its unmistakable taste comes from being stored in three different oak barrels. It matures in bourbon, new and used whiskey casks. This perfectly balanced 12 year old single malt has a fruity character of green apples, ripe peaches, pear and citrus. On the palate you then perceive the sweetness of vanilla and caramel and the characteristic hint of smoke and peat smoke.

Various smoky Loch Lomond whiskeys were married together for Inchmoan. The malts were distilled in gooseneck and straightneck pot stills. Loch Lomond is one of the few malt whiskey distilleries to offer a range of stills. It is aged for 12 years in a mix of recharred American oak and refill bourbon American oak casks, giving it a background of sweet vanilla that complements the smooth peat still of the Added arrangement of Loch Lomond stills. Dry and smoky notes with sweet vanilla and a pinch of pepper rise into the nose. It is sweet and tastes slightly of smoked ham, coffee beans, apple and pear.

 Various Loch Lomond whiskeys were also married for the Inchmurrin. The 12-year-old Inchmurrin matured in three types of casks. In addition to bourbon casks, refill casks and remanufactured oak casks were also used. Fruity and sweet notes of candy, toffee and fresh hay rise into the nose. Aromas of peach, apricot and orange are perceived on the palate. Added to this are vanilla aromas and the typical oak notes.
