In 1780 John Jameson opened the doors of the Jameson Distillery Bow St in Dublin. Jameson Irish Whiskey is made by mixing rich pot still whiskey from malted and unmalted barley with the finest grain whiskey, both of which are distilled three times, to ensure smoothness.

"" Bringing the wood back to life "": This is how the cooper called the traditional scorching of the barrels in which the whiskey was kept during the aging process. To this day, this is how they produce the Black Barrel, which matures in double-scorched bourbon barrels, which give it a unique spiciness, the sweetness of vanilla and nutty notes. Triple distilled, double scorched, simply unique.

The bouquet is rich with butterscotch, creamy caramel and fudge. On the palate it has nutty notes with spices and the sweetness of vanilla. The finish is full-bodied and intense with aromas of roasted wood and vanilla.
