Jack Daniel's is the brand name of a Tennessee whiskey from the small town of Lynchburg, Tennessee, USA. Jack Daniel's Distillery was officially founded in 1866. A few years later, the distillery moved to its current location to be closer to Jack Daniel's main resource: Spring Hollow's mineral-rich cave. Attention to detail in the making of whiskey begins with making your own charcoal to filter. It has the perfect blend of corn, rye and barley. Most importantly, this filtering process allows the whiskey to soak for about twelve days drop by drop through an approximately three meter thick layer of charcoal, which is produced on the premises of the distillery from sugar maple. This gives the whiskey its unforgettable and unique taste.

The barrels for Jack Daniel's come from the top floors of the warehouses in Lynchburg. This is where they are most exposed to seasonal temperature fluctuations and mature more intensively. Less than one hundredth of these barrels meet the high standards of our master distiller Jeff Arnett and his master tasting team. Each barrel is unique.

On the palate you can perceive soft notes of caramel, vanilla and dark chocolate mixed with oak wood. It has a ripe and robust caramel and vanilla character, with cherries and charred oak. It has a smooth finish with oak and traces of juniper.
