The distillery was founded in 1992 by Stewart MacDuff, Ted Thomson and Charles Murray and is therefore a very young distillery.
This Islay Mist was distilled in the Laphroaig Distillery.
The Islay Mist Whiskey from Scotland defines itself as a classic Islay Scotch with plenty of maritime facets.
Strong tones of smoky peat and a light note of seaweed rise into the nose. On the palate you notice a slightly warm malt note, followed by tones of oak, a pinch of salt and a slightly sweet aftertaste of toffee. It has a very long and spicy finish.
