Glenmorangie The Discovery Set 0,8 Liter 43%vol

Glenmorangie is a whiskey distillery in Tain in the Northern Highlands of Scotland and probably one of the most famous whiskey distilleries. The malt used in the production is unpeated so that no smoke aromas detract from the mild fruity character of the Glenmorangie whiskey. The distillery uses Mainly American oak barrels. First, the raw spirit is filled in (mostly first fill) bourbon barrels for 10 years. Then the whiskey is decanted into bourbon barrels, sherry barrels, port pipes or Sauternes barrels for the finish. Glenmorangie achieves a great variability in the whiskey range.

The Glenmorangie Discovery Set allows you to embark on a journey of discovery. The stylish gift packaging includes a normal bottle of Highland Malt Whiskey, supplemented by two mini 0.05 liter bottles for tasting.

Glenmorangie 10 Years: The original version of the elegant, floral style and the very foundation of the Glenmorangie palette. Glenmorangie Original is a 10-year-old single malt whiskey whose uniquely mild character results from the combination of Scotland's highest stills with American white oak barrels used a maximum of twice. The subtle bouquet of citrus fruits and ripe peaches is rounded off by delicate vanilla aromas. In the mouth you first feel vanilla notes, which then condense into a floral fruitiness. The finish is clear and soft, with hints of orange and peach.

Glenmorangie The Lasanta 12 Years: The Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Years Sherry Cask Finish is an excellent and very smooth single malt whiskey that is very well known and loved worldwide. It is stored for around 10 years in American white oak barrels and then receives a finish in hand-picked Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels, which give this whiskey its unforgettable and full-bodied taste. Notes of toffee, ginger and dates rise to the nose. On the palate it is very soft and rich in aromas of honey, spices, chocolate roses and cream candies.

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 14 Year Old: This Glenmorangie 14 Year Old is first matured in bourbon barrels for at least ten years before being subsequently matured in selected port wine barrels. Both the choice of casks and the process of the single malt remain unchanged, so that the aromatic character that defines the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is retained. Fruity and floral notes rise to the nose, with fruity orange, some sandalwood and dark chocolate. Nutty notes with exotic spices are also very present. On the palate it is soft and accompanied by aromas of chocolate, sweet mandarin and nuts. The finish is long and you can notice fresh notes of mint and orange.
