Glenfiddich is a whiskey distillery near Dufftown in the former County of Banffshire in Scotland. Glenfiddich is one of the largest single malt producers in Scotland. With the help of his nine children and a stonemason, William Grant fulfills his lifelong dream and builds a distillery, which he names "Glenfiddich" after the nearby Deer Valley. After only one year, on Christmas Eve 1887, the first drop of whiskey flowed out of the copper stills.

 The whisky begins with fresh, fruity aromas of green apples, pears and a hint of citrus. These are rounded off with vanilla, honey and a slight hint of oak, resulting in a balanced and inviting aroma. On the palate, the Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Triple Oak is soft and harmonious. Notes of ripe fruit, sweet caramel and gentle spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg combine with the characteristic vanilla sweetness and a hint of oak, which is enhanced by the triple cask maturation. The finish is medium-long, warm and pleasantly soft with a subtle spiciness and a hint of oak that slowly fades away.
