Flor de Caña is a brand of premium rum headquartered in Managua, Nicaragua. In 1890, he found the perfect setting for the Flor de Caña distillery at the foot of San Cristóbal Volcano, the highest and most active volcano in Nicaragua. The fertility of the surrounding areas, the enriched water and the hot volcanic climate have helped shape the unique and smooth flavor of the rum. Flor de Caña rum is distilled five times during its production. Each rum is aged in a charred oak barrel previously used to age bourbon whiskey, and is also made to kosher standards. The company's rums are aged up to 25 years.

At 40% vol, it is a blend of hand-selected rums that have been naturally aged between 12 and 18 years in bourbon barrels. Distilled with 100% renewable energy, sugar free, gluten free.

Flor de Caña Eco Rum is an ultra-premium rum and a very full rum at that, with notes of plums and tropical fruits. On the palate, one perceives flavors of caramelized toffee and wood, with an extra smooth finish.
