The distillery was founded in 1800, in Scotland, with a simple vision of producing the best quality blended whiskey they are now known around the world for, and have been the top selling whiskey brand in Scotland since 1980.

A wonderfully smoky Scottish whiskey, but with the characteristic soft sweetness of the Famous Grouse. Blinded from a selection of peated malts. It contains a rare version of Glenturret, Scotland's oldest active distillery, which uses barley, which is dried over peat, to make whiskey. This extraordinary malt is made in the traditional way. The Famous Grouse is the only blend in the world that uses it.

On the nose it leaves notes of firm peat and a hint of dry wood. On the palate it offers notes of smoke and caramel. The finish is long and slightly cloudy.
