Don Papa, also called Papa Isio, is considered one of the few well-known heroes of the Philippine Revolution. The sugar cane for Don Papa Rum is grown exclusively on the island of Negros, which is considered the "sugar bow" of the Philippines. On the fertile, volcanic soil, the sweetest sugarculodes thrive there.

Bottled in strictly limited quantities! This fine Papa Don rum was first matured in American oak barrels in which bourbon was previously stored. The rum was then stored in four different types of ex-sherry barrels for a second maturation. The second maturation took place in Palo Cortado, Fino, Cream and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Surprisingly dry aroma with a distinctly nutty note rises to the nose. It is rich on the palate with intense, dark, ripe fruit aromas. There are also aromas of dried fruit and cane sugar - sweet and pleasant, with a slight spicy note. The finish is long and very smooth - sherry and fruit flavors complement each other well and give the rum a nice finish.
