The distillery was built in 1897 and was first called Strathspey. When the owners went bankrupt, AP Blyth bought the distillery for his son
and named it Dalwhinnie. The whiskey from the Scottish Highlands is stored in the highest distillery in Scotland, where one has remained true to the old traditions. For example, no other distillery is allowed to use the water from the 600 meters high Lochan on Doire Uaine in the Drummer Hills
The composition of tradition and wild, cold origins a clear, easily accessible drink with a malty and sweet taste from the whiskey.

"" Dalwhinnie 15 Years "" is a is a Scottish North Highland malt in the Highland style, for which the water from the highest mountain spring of all malt whiskeys provides a surprisingly smooth taste. Soft, persistent aromas lead to a long, surprisingly intense finish.

With this whiskey you can taste all the good things of a Scottish single malt. Slightly sweet with light peat and a little smoke. It is very light and mild on the palate. The fruity sweetness is complemented by notes of vanilla and honey.
