Jacobus Alfons, or Bobby for his friends, was born in Indonesia, but moved to the Netherlands in 1950. Bobby loved Dutch Genever, but missed the taste of home and began to lift him with Indonesian spices and herbs without creating his own gin. In 2012, Bobby's grandson Sebastiaan began, inspired by the history of his grandfather, with the development of a unique gin, which mixed the tradition of Schiedam Genever with the best Indonesian plants and spices, creating this extraordinary gin.

Bobby's Schiedam Jenever is a new style of jenever produced in the heart of the Dutch jenever industry, Schiedam. A perfect combination of Dutch craftsmanship and Indonesian spice brings this gold award-winning jenever into perfect balance. This genever has a smooth and complex taste that combines traditional juniper notes with subtle hints of cloves, coriander and lemongrass.
