Arran Sauternes Cask Finish 50%vol. 0,7 Liter

Arran is a distillery that has reopened in 1995. The Isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland, has a very old whiskey tradition. Arran Distillery is conveniently located on Loch na Davie.

After an initial maturation period in ex-bourbon casks, this Scotch is finished in Sauternes white wine casks. A mild honeyed sweetness with nuances of marzipan and melon emerge on the nose. The background consists of rich fruits, ripe bananas and light floral notes, emphasized by silky nutty notes. On the palate, the Arran Sauternes Cask Finish impresses with a rich honey taste, which is complemented by subtle spices and a hint of salt. Vanilla and toasted oak appear in the background, giving the whisky a harmonious balance.
