A.H. Riise developed his rum on the formerly "Danish Virgin Islands" or the so-called "Danish West Indies" in the Caribbean.
"a.h.riise frigates Jylland Danish Navy Rum" is a special filling from the British Virgin Islands.
For the rum, various rums are used by the West Indian Islands and Central America. The distillates in these rum are up to 20 years old. In the nose, notes of cigars, caramel, chocolate and grass develops. On the palate you first take a mild rum true with intense fruit notes of pineapple, banana and honeymelon. A ropewal note of milk chocolate leads to a slightly fruity and spicy finish.
