Named in commemoration of the year in which the first expertly crafted tequila was unveiled, 1800 tequila still follows the standards of the original formula, created in the year 1975.
Created in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium, 1800 Milenio is the result of 250 years of family tradition. It is made from 100% blue Weber agave, picked at the peak of ripeness and steamed for 36 hours to obtain the richest, most flavorful nectar. This liquid is double distilled in copper pot stills. After aging for 40 months in American oak barrels, the best tequila of the batch is separated and aged for 4 months in French oak cognac barrels, giving it a unique character.
It has a certain warmth with notes of agave, caramel, vanilla and oak. Its taste is a harmonious combination of lightly toasted oak, vanilla, caramel and red fruits with an intense cinnamon note. The finish is dry, pleasantly warm, rich in caramel and oak.
