Named in commemoration of the year in which the first expertly crafted tequila was unveiled, 1800 tequila still follows the standards of the original formula, created in the year 1975.
1800 Cristalino Anejo is made from 100% blue agave, which is harvested by hand in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The plants take eight to ten years to mature and can only be harvested once. This first-class tequila is stored in port wine barrels, which give it a better taste, before it is filtered to obtain a crystal-clear spirit.
Notes of oak and vanilla emerge on the nose. On the palate, there are notes of nuts and a hint of citrus fruit. The finish is long-lasting, silky and crisp, with port wine aromas present.
